About Mrs. Moliver & Ms. Langerud

Hello 5th Grade Families!

As we prepare for a fantastic fifth grade year, I would like to take a moment to not only introduce myself, but also my long term substitute teacher.

My name is Anne Moliver and I have been teaching for the past seven years, last year being my first at Roberts. I was so grateful for the warm welcome I received, and the unforgettable learning experiences shared with my students at this outstanding school. I look forward to even more growth and exciting adventures ahead with your students.

As you may know, my husband and I are expecting our first child in the coming days. This means that I will be taking some time with my new baby at home, but will return to the classroom after my maternity leave. Ms. Epps and I are happy to announce that an excellent substitute teacher will be stepping in during my absence, and we have been collaborating to ensure that every student's needs are met.

Kristen Langerud is a recent English graduate from Texas A&M University. She is currently completing her teaching certification and is thrilled to be working with your kids this semester. Ms. Langerud hopes to one day be able to teach English abroad and experience everyday life in a different culture.

Ms. Langerud will be your primary contact while I am away. Her email address, kristen.langerud@houstonisd.org, will be active within the next week. In addition, our class blog will temporarily be out of use, but all academic information and reminders can be found on the other fifth grade teachers' class websites:

We can’t wait to begin a great school year and build strong relationships with you and your student!

Sincerely,

Anne Moliver
