5th Grade Activities for the Last Week of School:
Tuesday, May 23
- “Fun Day” at Roberts
- 9-11am – Games 2 U - Laser Tag, Video Game Truck, Foam Pit (Bring a full change of clothes!)
- Lunch as usual in cafeteria – bring lunch or buy from cafeteria
- Promotion Ceremony - Pershing Middle School Auditorium, 3838 Blue Bonnet Blvd.
- Students should arrive by 5:30pm, ceremony begins promptly at 6:00pm.
- A professional photographer will take a photo of each child receiving their certificate, which will be available for order at: www.enjoyphotos.com

Wednesday, May 24
- Field Trip to The University of Houston
- 9:30-11:30am We will be playing glow effect bowling (don’t forget SOCKS), ping pong, and other games. Look for a permission slip coming home Monday, return on Tuesday.
- 5th grade party at Roberts
- 12-2pm Pizza, DJ, sno cones, yearbook signing, photo booth. Students are welcome to bring picnic blanket for our time outside!
Thursday, May 25
- Last Day of School!!!
- Early Dismissal at 12:30pm
- No after-school programs will be held and school grounds will be closed to set-up for the carnival.
- Carnival at 3:30pm!
Happy summer and best wishes for 6th grade! This has been an unforgettable year with 28 of the coolest 5th graders ever! I am so thankful for our time together and hope to be kept “in the loop,” as each student has a permanent place in my heart!
