Reminders:
- Exhibition art mentors will continue to work with us on Monday & Tuesday afternoon. Any incomplete projects after that point will need to be worked on outside of class.
- Math Benchmark Test - Wednesday, 2/1
- Reading Benchmark Test - Thursday, 2/2
- Science Benchmark Test - Friday, 2/3
These assessments will provide valuable data as we head into an important part of the school year. Please ensure that your child gets a good night sleep, as well as a healthy breakfast and snack throughout the week. Notebooks and folders are an excellent tool to review some of the objectives that we covered earlier this year.
Math: Stem and Leaf Plots and Scatter Plots (Go Math lessons 16.1-16.2)
We will not be having our regularly scheduled P.O.D. quiz this week, but will instead have a quiz over graphing on Friday. This will include frequency tables, bar graphs, stem and leaf, dot, and scatter plots. Links in older posts would be excellent reviews (and as always, the math notebook!)
Reading: Character traits study within Chains, our class read aloud, and our book club novels. Grammar skills: adverbs and prepositions.
Science: Review previously taught objectives
Social Studies: Geography skills
